Better

“If you are interested in leather fanny pack holsters and other gun accessories, then this just may be one of the most interesting letters you have ever read” says the first paragraph on this site.

For some reason those words conjured up an image in my mind of a handgun peering out of a leathery old fanny. Then I realised it was an American site and felt better. At the end of the day we’re just more civilised than Americans. For a start we don’t kill people because they’ve been a bit naughty and we keep our guns in the firm grasp of the police and hardened criminals. Who only use them when they want to shoot a Brazilian man in the face or blow away some children.

In short we’re better in every way. Our Prime Minister is honest and our political system is untainted by corruption. Our motorways are free from congestion and children breathe in fresh meadow air when they open the windows of their country house council blocks. Not forgetting that they are thin and healthy and spend their days climbing trees and shooting imaginary Germans.
